charming place but needs attention to detail

The Victorian room was cozy and had lovely original decor that added character. The staff were friendly, providing warm welcomes and genuine hospitality throughout our stay. I especially enjoyed the beautiful garden view.

The cleanliness left something to be desired, which affected my overall comfort.

Overall a beautifully designed brand-new hotel. Tidy unit with access to the beautiful front porch, shared bathroom and a larger bed. Wonderfully friendly and amiable people working here.

Visited the Children's Museum of Acadiana and hit up Kart Ranch for some fun. The place has a cool playground and laundry services. Breakfast was tasty, but don't expect an all-day menu, so plan ahead.

We were a bit disappointed with the room cleanliness upon arrival. We found some bugs, hard to relax and enjoy our time.

We had a spotless and light filled room with central heating, an individual safe and a flat-screen TV. The bed was very comfy & the staff was accommodating and outstandingly accommodating. Location: the hotel was not far from a fire station, and restaurants and downtown Lafayette.

Staying here was like stepping back in time! The room's decor was beautifully vintage, and enjoying mint juleps on the patio was pure bliss. Don't miss the delicious biscuits and gravy at breakfast, and be sure to explore the lovely gardens for a picture-perfect escape!

Besides, the location was great and unbeatable for our stay, within 25 minutes' walk of Acadiana Center for the Arts. The free parking was onsite, amazing service

The blend of historical charm and cozy decor creates a homey atmosphere that's hard to beat. The strong water pressure in the shower and the comfortable king-size bed made for a restful sleep, perfect after a day of exploring.

The noise situation was not ideal. Being next to a fire station and near a busy street, sirens blared throughout the night, disrupting any chance of peace. I also faced some maintenance issues, as the window in my room didn't close properly, letting in a draft. The breakfast was decent, but the options were limited, and I found it baffling there wasn't more variety to choose from, especially after seeing the potential dishes available.

Inconsistent cleanliness, particularly in shared areas!!! Facilities could benefit from better maintenance and soundproofing!!! Some updates on furniture and decor feel overdue!!! Attention to detail in room configurations would enhance comfort significantly!!!

The cocktail hour with live music was the highlight! I loved relaxing in the lush gardens 🍃. Just wished the shower had better water pressure. A lovely getaway!
